Devlog #13: Calendar vs list — how we settled the debate

We already wrote about the "calendar vs list" debate in the general blog. This post covers the specific decisions we made for Quedula.

Both views are available. The user can switch between them in one click. The last selected view is remembered for the next session.

By default we show the list. The reason: for new users with a small number of posts, the list is more informative. When there are many posts and you need a week/month overview — you switch to the calendar.

One more decision: in the list view we group posts by day. This is an intermediate option between a flat list and a full calendar.
