New GPT capabilities: what changes for SMM

Early this year several language model updates shipped that significantly improved their ability to work with multimedia content. We've been watching closely.

For SMM teams this mainly means better automatic processing of video and images — descriptions, tags, captions. Things that previously required manual annotation are now automatable at acceptable quality.

We don't think this replaces editors. But it does change which tasks make sense to delegate to tools.
